HARTFORD – On Wednesday, August 29th, Laura Bush, State Representative candidate for the 56th District, was endorsed by the Connecticut Realtors Association.
The Connecticut Realtors Association represents 17,000 members in the state. Their endorsements are based on which candidate they believe can ensure that “there is a positive environment for living in or transferring property in Connecticut.”
“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of Connecticut Realtors. Attracting new families and retaining young professionals and seniors are vital to our state’s future,” said Laura Bush. “I am determined to make Connecticut an affordable place to which people will want to move.”
Local real estate agent Patty Noblet commented, “I am delighted to hear that Connecticut Realtors has endorsed Laura Bush's candidacy for the 56th Assembly District. As Laura's realtor this summer, representing Laura and her husband Tom in the sale of their home in Vernon, I realized immediately that Laura has a grasp on what to do, how to do, and when to do it! She has abundant energy and a positive personality, is goal oriented, and positively motivated. Unquestionably, we would be in good hands with Laura representing us.”
Laura Bush, a teacher, currently serves on the Vernon Town Council and has previously served on the Board of Education.
